Hi there. Just been checking out some members vids on youtube and stumbled across the orientation vid & it says to introduce yourself so here I am. My names Steve & I'm about to start my first MKVI helmet & Armour, (Just waiting for the damn card stock top arrive in the post, GRRR). Stumbled across your group whilst checking out the "how to's" on you tube. What a great group, all this info & everyone eager to share. Great to see. I look forward to posting my progress on site & hearing peoples feedback. I intend to make armour for both me & my 7 year old then the both of us can go to our very first Comic Con next year. Lets hope it all pans out as planned.
Honoured to be a 405th member
Regards Steve

Welcome to the 405th! I suggest you post here: http://www.405th.com/showthread.php/11765-Introduce-Yourself and read the stickies, read the tuts, and lastly read everything. :$ Seriously, the more you read, the stronger your understanding will be of not only what method you want to use to make your armor, but how you can utilize every neat little trick the awesome costumers on this site have come up with. I have spent about 15 hours researching and reading. Here are some links I personally have found useful: http://www.405th.com/showthread.php/34408-All-In-One-New-Member-Introduction-Guide (Great read through for the pep/resin armorer) http://www.405th.com/forumdisplay.php/14-Pepakura-and-Cardboard-Armor (Read all the stickies here) and you might want to watch Cereal Kill3r's tuts:http://www.405th.com/showthread.php...-Chief-**-A-Step-By-Step-Tutorial-(My-Way)-**
