I was just wondering if overcutting on a part of the helmet per say will effect the overall product. Like if it is a horizontal line and then a right angle is made with a vertical line I would cut into the vertical line about 1/3 inch. I'm not good with scissors, I'm left handed and broke.

Just tape it together on the inside just to be safe... :)

Ok thanks guys. I am probably going to use a box cutter on the cardstock I will be getting hopefully this weekend. I am usually pretty accurate with box cutters. Can anyone give me a suggestion as to what I should cut on? I have decently nice wood in my room and I don't want to have gouges in it. Would a couple layers of thick cardboard keep the box cutter from cutting my wood up?
