i did an unwise thing today, i told my parents of my idea to make a halo spartan helmet, use it for a while, like on holloween, and in the winter (skiing/boarding as master chief), and then selling on e-bay, well my parents have been telling me that it will cost too much to make it, and then no one will buy it. i tried telling them that the helmet won't cost that much to make, and i will be able to sell it for a good sum, such as the helmet on there now going for around two grand last i checked. so my question is, how much does it cost to produce one of these helmets, i know the padding is like 20 and the visor is about 30-40, but that's about it. thank you for your patience with my long-winded explanation.

Usually comes with the resin, but its not much. 5 bucks maybe...

Acutally you may want to look into using Muslin and a 50/50 mixture of glue and water instead of fiberglass. Theres a thread on here that was just talking about that. This might be the perfect time to try this out. A lot cheaper supposedly.
