How To Cut A Face Shield?

So my son and I are working on a set of armor for him... based off of a legendary edition helmet that we gutted for him.

Just got the gold face shield in yesterday and it looks great but I'm nervous about cutting it. Any tips?

I have a dremmel but wasn't sure about attacking it with that - don't want to hurt the finish. Shop scissors? Score first with a utility knife?

Mask the visor you don't want to be damaged with flying glass particules, wear protection and cut with a reinforced cutting wheel.

Mesure twice before cutting so you don't cut too short.

use a diamond wheel cutter, it will give you a nice clean cut
