How To Use Spot Putty

Its easy, after you have used body filler and sanded that down a decent amount, there are normally still small holes that bondo might not quite get in, for these you use spot putty. Dont use it on large holes, just small ones, like pen tip sized holes, any parger than that and i would suggest more body filler.
Easy to apply, no need to mix like bondo, just squeeze it out of the tube (only a tiny bit at a time) and dab it on the spot that needs filling, wait till its dry, sand, done!

What he said.

Either that, or smear it onto a old worthless credit card and wipe it over the areas you need filled. Once dry, sand and paint.

CHEERS!

body filler is used over the whole piece once resin is done. you smother the whole piece with bondo, but make sure you are still somewhat clean about it. make it to where you can still make out most of the details. then once dried, sand it all down.

well I'd disagree just a bit with roguespartan
I say try to use as little bondo as possible
smooth out your pep as much as you can by sanding then just use bondo as a correctional measure, using it to help shape out curves or details. saves a lot of sanding and a lot of bondo
beleive me once you get started sanding it you'll wish you didnt need to use it >___>
its like grinding concrete x__x

you can use any kind of sandpaper with any kind of device really, and try to get rid of sharp edges that shouldnt be there- round out anything that needs to be round

Well I think that using bondo over the whole piece ensures that the whole thing is very smooth and offers a much better look. it also makes for easier sanding than trying to sand each little part of the resin.its more of a personal choice though. I made my first piece without any bondo and it looks amazing. i made it to the elite with it. however, it was time consuming. i wish i had used bondo on all of it.
