Howdy Ian, welcome to the 405th!
2 foam guns is nothing to scoff at, my friend! Foam isn't easy to use with small details such as those on prop guns so I commend you for those.
If learning to get better at crafting is what you want, then that is what you will have!
We have a load of tutorials and guides in the New Recruits section that you can make use of to help you on your crafting journey.

The Lego Batman movie is legitimately underappreciated, it's a fun movie with a good message.
It's pretty easy to start making armour, I would recommend checking out N8TEBB's tutorial to get a feel for the process (I'll have it linked below for you)

Welcome to the 405th acchikeiii !
3D printing can seem quite expensive from the outside but it can be much more easy to get into if you make the right buying choices, quite a few people here would recommend the Ender 3 as a good starter printer for a low enough cost if you can find the right place. Personally it's the machine that I learned on so I'll always have a bit of affection for it!

Hi Tony, welcome to the 405th!
Liking 3d modelling will definitely be beneficial in the process of building suits.
We have a metric TON of tutorials that you can use to get better at crafting cosplays and armour.
We also should have quite a few members at SDCC, we have in the past at least!
