Introduction into Cosplay: multi-colored 3d printing edition

A friend gave me the brilliant idea to reach out to the hive mind. I'm planning to host a Cosplay panel for 3d printing and printing in color. I'm planning to go over things like sanding colored and unicolored prints. What questions should I expect people to ask? I'm not sure how much I could cover in about an hour. Thoughts and feedback would be great

So for cosplay purposes, usually we like to sand the prints thoroughly to get rid of the print lines and then prime and paint the pieces. What is the advantage of using coloured filament if you plan to paint over it anyway?

For a panel, it's also a nice idea to just go over the general process to give everyone a basic understanding of what you're going to be talking about. It helps even out everyone's knowledge base.

Another thing you can talk about is why you would choose 3D printing in certain circumstances vs other building methods, and what 3D printing's advantages/disadvantages are.
