I'm really surpised noone has started this with the new movie out and all.I'd love to give this one a shot.I dont think my modeling skills are up to the challenge though.

I would drop all projects for it.I really would try to model it.But after looking at the ulimate ironman suit i did.(not really impressed with it)I just dont think i could pull it off.I really dont know where or how to start it.Iv'e found ALOT of pics of it though haha

Kinda surpised, looking threw the web and not able to find anyone even working on a model of it.When the first movie came out alot of folks were building the suit all 3d style even before it opened

If you made it. I would love you! I know agbates is making one but he has only started the handplate. I would love to unfold it for ya if you ever made it!

if only i had took the computer modeling advanced class in my school. :pi would totally make it, but i dont have the skillz, i might take it in high school though. lol i just introduced my teacher to blender. hes been using google sketchup. :p

well if you guys are prepared to wait a little bit I'm planning on doing the model

should be able to do Mk IV and VI as they are essentially the same suit with a different chest and paint scheme (VI has a lot more gold and some silver)

it'll be a HD build with as few skinny's (as i call them...you know the little tiny tiny skinny pieces that are a pain in the ass to pep) as possible

my backs out at the moment so it'll probably be another week before i can sit long enough to make a start on it...

but i've been doing 3d modeling for 9-10 years now so I'm your guy....

and hey....i might even take a stab at war machine when i'm done...

If you were willing to throw in a Low Detail mark 1 i would bow to you. Well, to tell you the truth I'd bow to you no matter what you modeled. I'll be anxiously waiting any work you do, and remember we really appreciate the things you modelers do for us!

OMG YOUR THE MAN! I also heard you need bondo, and if it doesn't cost a million dollars to ship it to you, we could work something out!

I'm DYING to do the Mark IV, so if someone made the Mark VI, could they also include the Mark IV chest (the body is identical, chest is the only difference).

I scanned these from the new Art of Iron Man 2 book. I was about to start it in lightwave but I'm slow so have at it!
