UPDATES: Almost done! 1 or 2 more days. The helmets a different story. Im going for the doughnut shop Tony Stark look.

Ya the models will be up as soon as i get around to it. The reason 4 the red nail is cuz i was holding the peices as i was painting them...

New updated arc pep

I've got 2 update files. They're the same thing but in one, the components are assembled and the other they're not. You can still unfold the assembled one but if ur unsure how, go with the disassembled. Here's some pics n the links are below. I made the base a bit more simple cuz pepping the detailed one sucked bad. So here's how this works. This peice

glues into this peice

. I modeled the tabs in because its a seperate component but they glue onto the indented peices of the arc's base. A closer look at the base pic n u'll see a small black line on the left randomly. That shows where it should be level with. As long as you get it in there. Then this peice

is where I'm running the lights through. It sits snug on the base. After fiberglassing, remove support beam, add lights and what not. Then in this peice

you will drill holes to line up with your LED's, then slide it inside the arc's lid to protect/hide the wires. Feel free to glue your clear lenses on this peice. I plan on printing out an arc reactor pic n putting it in between 2 plastic lenses. The light behind it should give a good effect. Here's the final.

After the whole chest is done, i'll have the arc scaled to fit and I'll just cut the circle bigger.

after pepping that small part of the Mark 4 chest, it looks like I'm aiming for a width and depth of 350mm on Letter sized paper. The unfold u did is beautiful btw!

Ok here's the unfold as close to the size you specified as I could get it.. I'm 1mm out on the depth was either that or the width ..figured you'd prefer the depth.
I had to make alot of the pieces smaller so they would fit on letter paper.
I also took the liberty of highlighting the Valley and Mountain folds.
Mountain = Blue
Valley = Red

So that was so my bad! Its not 350 its 135mm. Sorry to waste your time. Its actually smaller than your first one. Dang a 350mm arc reactor would be huge. Here's a pic of what I did with yours. I printed it but cant save it to share. Again, very sorry. It was 13.5cm. I'm sleep deprived.

Thanks carnage. So i just got paid and got bondo. This is the 1st time I've done this part, but I'm a good sculptor so this shouldnt be hard.Doin the bicep right now. Tryin 2 spread it as evenly as i can with the gloves 1st. Didnt think it through tho. I bought gloves with textured palms and fingers. more sanding i guess. keep u guys posted...

I can't get your reactor file to work. Its a .kmz? it just says its corrupted. It looks fantastic though! so does the arm. Kudos man! i really love the arm design for the mark 4/6

It might be easier to only view one component at a time, then again u've done some mad unfolds, im sure im only telling u what u already know. haha


ALSO: I want to start an attempt at modeling the mark 5 suit. If anyone has a high poly male figure model they'd throw my way, it'd give me a good place to start. Thanks. Ive already seen someone did the helmet, good job!
