Is Halo Reach another Halo 3 ODST?

Hey guys, ive recently been comparing Reach to ODST, and there is definitley distinct differences; for example:

Buck=Carter (leader)

Dare=Kat (smaller weapons expert, possible romance between Carter and her)?

Mickey=Jorge (heavy weapons expert/explosives expert)?

Dutch=Emile (super cool dude, heavier weapons, but not explosives expert)

Romeo=Jun (sniper man)!

And of course.....

Noble 6=Rookie (shy, quite guy, main character)

So, yah.... definitley a connection!

There is even a part in ODST where Buck talks to Dare about Reach (supposedly they were in on the action)..... possible character switches? I definitley think that there is more of a connection between ODST and Reach! They may not be the same characters, but I think we are going to see some suprising twists in this upcoming campain!

I don't think so. Those similarities can be all just a part of the way they(unsc) put together squads

Nathan Fillion (Buck's voice) did mention he's done some voice work for Reach, I don't know anything past that.

I'm not sure about your Mickey=Jorge... Mickey's the little guy with the big boom, Jorge is.. the big guy with the big boom. I'd say Dutch is closer to Jorge, (Dutch always ends up being shown holding the minigun, similar to Jorge), with Emile filling a new spot of CQB. But hey, that's how a special forces team is divided up. Cool guys with cool specialties.

Noble 6 has a voice both male and female not the silent protaganist
Both Buck and Dare had a history together but Dare's work got in the way,in reach i would compare carter and kat more to Mal and Zoe in Firefly. But also the plot background (what we have recieved) is different you have a more survival cause the UNSC got thier butts kicked to a, UNSC is trying to hold off the covenant (as Bungie says two super powers clashing) so this game should be longer
