It's official. Time to form the OMEGA TEAM!!!

The time has come for the SSG team to come together and become the OMEGA TEAM from Halo Wars!!! I am beyond excited to do the OMEGA team with my fantastic broski's, SSGLordBert and SSGLordErne. I will be rocking the heavy gunner, Robert. Bert will be the team leader, August. Erne will be the energy sword wielding fighter, Leon. We are gonna be going off the concept art verse the Infinite design. And this will be my first time to start handcrafting certain armor pieces into foam, so if anyone has any tips or trick of getting into foam, feel free to message me. I'm open to any help/suggestions!!! Do hope to have the Omega Team done and ready for HCS or TORG in Oct. and Nov. Now let's get ready to build!!!

As for me to being the heavy gunner, I am indecisive for what heavy weapons to go with. So here are the three I'm picking from. Let me know what you guys think.

Update on the Omega Team:
The printing of the armors has begun!! SSGLordBert has gotten my measurents for my Robert suit. He has started printing my biceps. He did had shins printed off in TPU for me and I went to work on it. Got the first layer in primer, then from the concept art, got the paint that matches close to it, taped of certain area, a little mastermind tip from Bert on how to give it its weathered look, and VIOLA, shins are completed!!! Once I get the rest of the armor, I will be posting more updates.

: Update from July 13th and 14th
Slowly but surely the Omega Team is getting closer and closer. I'm about 70% of the way there, thanks to SSGLordBert and SSGLordErne. SSGLordBert did help me with the painting/weathering on most of my suit. He has done my chestplate, knee, shoulder, and thigh attachments. What I currently have left for my Robert suit is the helmet, visor, backpack part of the chest, belt, and boots. This is what I currently have done so far for my suit. Once I get the rest of the armors, I will send updates.

Update: July 15th

Got my armor all detailed. Really loving how this is turning out. Can't wait to start working on my thighs this week. Stay tuned.

Update: July 20th

Got both my thighs sanded, primed, weathered, fiberglassed, and detailed. They turned out fantastic!! Just started attaching my chest plates and attachments to my front chest. Will post updates when it's fully cured and dry.

Update July 21st-23rd

Got the front of my chest glued together along with my collar piece and chest attachments. I used two 5lb workout weights I found in my basement to hold the chest plates down. The straps really came in handy. Clamped off certain spots on my chest and taped my chest attachments in place. This beauty of a suit is coming along real great!! Will post more updates here soon. Got the back suit sanded, primed, painted, and weathered. Will start detailing later on this week. Will post more updates here in the next couple days.

Update: July 28th-August 2nd

Got a lot of my suit done this entire week. Got my back suit all detailed. I also got my whole front and back belt all done. Got the two back pieces for my shins all done. My two helmet side attachments are all done. Both my knees are all done. Now I'm currently working on my helmet right now. Got the magnets all glued in and its sanded and primed. Need to fill in some spots before I start to fiberglass it, sand it, and paint it. I'm about 90% of the way there. All I have left for SSGLordBert need to print for me are both my tpu boots and my tpu inserts for my interior back suit. He has my wrist attachment and my top helmet attachment printed. This is what the helmet attachment looks like on my friends helmet SSGLordErne. Will be posting more updates here soon.

Update: Aug. 3rd and 4th

Got my helmet fully done minus the visor that is being done by branfuhr. The helmet attachment for the top is printed, just need to get it from SSGLordBert. Got my helmet shell insert all magnetized and padded. It keeps on getting better and better. Will post more updates here soon.

Update: Aug. 18th-21st
I have my suit fully done except for the visor and my foam shoulder hand done by Spidermonkey60. Got my boots, wrist attachment, helmet attachment, and my side chest painted and detailed. My back insert, back part of my belt, my wrist attachment and my helmet attachment is glued. This weekend I will start on the padding and strapping on my suit. This has been a truly fun project to work on. I can't wait till it's fully done. Will post more updates here soon.

Update: Aug. 25th

The visor has arrived!! Got it all glued in place and OMG!!! It looks amazing!! Got my wrist attachment glued in place and started working on the strapping of my suit. Inching my way closer to being fully done. Will post more updates soon.

I'm actually going with the gauss cannon. SSGLordBert is close to being done printing it. Once it's done, we're send a pic of it.
