Also... Sometimes you have minimized movement when wearing a suit... How hard would it be to grab it?

Thats an interesting question- I guess trial and error will be the deicder in this. Just gotta wait some time and I will let you know! Plus an AR is pretty large it shouldnt be too hard to mount it in a way that even a little bit of it sticks out enough so that it would be easy enough to grab! And Blacrose I really hope your plan works out! My goal was to mount on some snaps onto each side of the bootplate and have them directly attatch to snaps on the boot itself, I figured it would be cool when suiting up, plus hold it well too!

I would suspect that even being able to reach halfway to your back would be extremely, if not impossible, to do in armor. What I think most people would do is, like in-game, have one weapon strapped to your back while you hold the primary weapon in your hands..... Sorry, I'm kinda thinking out loud....er, thinking while typing lol.

Do me a favor and take your right arm and reach behind you and touch your right shoulder, then reach across your chest and touch the back of your left shoulder. Its not too bad, and even wearing bulky armor I should be able to reach say the butt of my AR.

Ill take a look when I have some more of my armor done and I'll see if I would... but I think you might be right, you would be able to... but it depends on how big a person makes their armor...

Well I totally Adore that wooden Plasma Pistol, but I do have a little bit of constructive critisism. And I do mean this is the nicest way, really. Your forearm and bicept look alittle bit big.......the bicept not so much but the forearm looks like a Hunters cannon almost lol. They look like the low def forearms too, so I know that they seems too wonky anyway you size them. I hope you built them only for scaling information, the HD ones are the way to go though. I think if you did the HD forearms by maybe 1cm shorter you'll be set. But thats just me :]

See I am a tad bit confused for the forearms, I am having issues sizing them, Like i used the reduce by 10% 2x and that worked great for the biceps the forearms I wasnt sure. Thing is the hole around my wrist fits perfectly(it was actually a tad too small but then I cut it a bit wider lol) so If I shrink the armor any more it wouldnt fit....... Hmm you say go the Hi-Def route? Any suggestions on who has a good model, I have to see what peps I have downloaded.
BTW I am using Robo's stuff for my biceps and forearms, and I found Nuggets HD forearms so I am gunna remake the forearms now lol!

Dont quote me on this but I think the HD forearms were done by....... Flying Squirl.
I got pissed off at the low def forearms.. I rebuilt them... I think 7 times now? and I just cant seem to get it right! (instinctively, I gave up on them for a later time lol)
I think the way you use the low def to figure out the correct scaleing is to have the wrost part lay right behind the ball of your wrist (i sunno what that part is called lol) and the elongated piece at the top of the pep forearm should stick out abit so that when you keep your arm straight it covers all of your elbow and up your arm about an inch...
Dont take my word for it though since i have yet to build a good forearm lol.

The Thing is as you describe how it should fit, my forearm fits just like that? I am gunna add padding to the inside and Im sure it should fit well, but I am gunna make the HD Nugget forearm but im making it about 1 cm smaller so if it dosent work lol at least I will have plenty of time to re-remake it!!!!

Yeah, the low def is just very weird. Try the HD one at the smae scale or 1cm smaller and see how different it compares in terms of funky-lookin-ness...? I would lok to see the HD pep once your finished :]

Lol it's alright... BTW when you make the forearms they will seem like the back is wide... and the front isn't... :\...

hey Blacrose! I just finished cutting out my HD left forearm, I will start folding tommorw and hopefully glueing on sunday. Thing is I am going swimming on both days so I gotta find me some time haha
