Well I've begin to notice. And I've decided to put my ideas into the bin because everyone knows its good to hear from the noobs.

Now, don't get me wrong. I don't want to sound like I'm asking for everything on a silver platter, but it would save a lot of time and heartache for many noobs like this.

As so may have known, I've started an ODST project, the SKG one, ( thank you to everyone who imputed ). The reason I started this project was, because it was so easy to find everything I needed to know! The scaling info was there, all the pieces there, it was good quality. I couldn't have asked for anything better! But now comes the question.

Why isn't there anything out there for Mark VI like this?

Now I'm not asking for like the whole how to do this whole suit of armor thing step by step in a guide, no, I just like a plain and simple pep guide for sizing.

Now the Frizzlefry tutorial is excellent, but no offense to ( I think Jedifrazz made them, didn't he? ) but, this hi quality stuff is waaaay better. But like Flying Squirrel ( Sp? I'm Sorry. ) and Nugget ( Got that one right ) Have completely different sizing. Its like 200 size vs 25 size and your like whaaaat? And then I've been hearing, stuff like the forearm doesn't need to be sized, where do they say that? Its just that, all the info is so scattered, and so old ( The scaling thread started in 2007, its been a while. )

I just wish that it was a little bit simpler and not like my Boyscout troop where you have to learn for yourself and everyone else will take of of themselves. Good Luck!

I know you guys are very helpful and you wouldn't do that. ( But the Boyscouts still do. >:| So I quit ) But please, go easy on us, we don't know anything.

Just in case I confused you and you didn't understand it, here's an example:

Pepakura Files for Letter:
Yaddayaddayadda

Pepakure Files for A4:
Yaddayaddayadda

Sizing:
The forearm doesn't need to be sized
The boot is based on your shoe size (Insert mathematical equation)
And the normal sizing is (Insert mathematical equation)

Do you get my point?

The scale numbers always change but the Built Height is always almost identical from modellers to modellers.

Build size testers, there is nothing safer `;)

When JediFraz did his models, it was the first time it was introduced. At that time, it was High-Quality work compared with Cardboard suits.

I know, but the times have changed, and I hoped something better would come along. ( Starts singing whtever that song is that has those creepy lyrics. )

By the way, how do I find size testers, I've never seen one. D:

Try looking on the wiki : halocostuming.wikia.com

Size Testers are often Halo 2 models which takes only a few hours to build compared to days for some pieces.

Just go by the build height. Measure your arm or leg in cm and get the right length, plug it into the scaler, then poof it the exact size you need.

Sometimes the high-def files, or even the old low-def JediFraz files. If you're using them simply for size testing, there's no point in using a file that requires more folding; you really just need the basic shape and size to see if it fits correctly.

This tells me you didn't look well enough.

Here I'll even point you to them.
FS Pep Files - Each of those files should include a size tester model of some sort.

The information is here. You just have to dig sometimes. When you're tired of digging, you can ask someone, but "Be Prepare" for a number of responses.

Also get used to the learning stuff for yourself routine. That's life, and as I was a Boy Scout once upon a time, that's what they're supposed to teach and prepare you for basically.

Thanks a lot guys, I see that that is probably too much to ask for and we should be truly thankful for what we have.

Magnum: I've seen that thread before and thank you for pointing it out, I see what you mean by size testers, but to a noob, it looks like some more links to pep stuff because it never says size testers, but thanks. That will help a lot, when I start up my Mark VI armor again.
