Katana Equivelent For Elites

hey guys i just had an idea, why dont we make something like the katana for elites like the flight elite jetpack

*sigh* I believe you mean you want to build the flight/ranger elites' jetpacks. But what you're saying is that you want to model an armor permutation in the tradition of the spartan's katana armor permutation. You also sound like you are just throwing a suggestion out into the wind for someone to pick it up, model it, and pep it so that sometime later you can download the file. The 405th frowns upon this.



I suggest you add some substance to your post. Make it a request thread. But no one is going to help you unless you at least explain the model you want and provide several detailed references from as many angles as possible. No one's going to do ALL the work for you.



However, it is a good idea and I will look into this.

It's the most basic HTML code. Or you could just hit the link button. That works rather well too. I'm not sure what you mean about your 'edge id' not working...just get some pictures from google or make your own in Theatre mode. Modelers need pictures if you want anything done.

I think it would be interesting but could you please do a simple sketch please so I can see what your trying to suggest. It's just that I can see and visualize what your talking about BUT, your post kind of garbled up the visual so could your provide a sketch or reformat your post.

No, its not bad, its good that our new members are wanting to contribute, its just that there wasn't need for a thread just for one sentence basically saying "I have an idea, but I want you guys to make it".

A jet pack would be pretty sweet!!



The problem here is, why make a jet pack pep file if there is only ONE elite costume that can possibly use it(i'm talking about the arbiter).



sorry if I sound like donkey, but yeah, I don't see a jet pack for an elite in the future.

It takes time to get used to making props, so yeah, don't say you're dumb.



As for the whole idea about making something for the elites to act like a Katan piece, I would think something along the lines of the Abiter's cool Energy sword handles.

After i finish my armor, if i have my own computer at that time, ill look into 3d modeling. ive wanted to for a while after messing around with some stuff in my CAD class at school. If so the first thing ill do is model some H3 elite costumes. I mainly want the ascetic helm, but most other perms are sweet. But the jetpack would definitely be something for the flight perm.

dude, if you need help with the katana, particularly the actual blade, I can help, due to the fact that I somewhat know how to build a real one, along with the fact that I have a working smithy in my backyard...
