Sorry for the confusion. My son is about 4'4" but the elite costume will be for me and I am 6' tall. 
I was planning on making it this year but I have taken a new job, moved to Georgia and there was just not enough time to start a project that big. I figured that I would make this Master Chief Helmet mold and set up my nephews for next year that way we could have a complete squad and you can't have an army of soldiers without a few bad guys right? It should be fun. My plan for the elite is to fabricate some stilts, mold the face and rig up something special to move the elite mouth with my mouth movement. Then I'll make a body suit and an outer covering and finally fabricate the armor in fiberglass. Perhaps we will have a Dragon Con reveal if all goes well. Keep your eyes open for follow up posts.
