KTM's FN five-seven build

Hey guys long time no see lol! Haven't been on the forum in a while and it's been just as long since I built something ! Since its been so long, don't expect a five star gun. First I frond some vector prints and made a few copies after scaling up a little bit. Then I started to map out the magazine shape

That wasn't too hard now comes the follower and the spring with the temporary mag spacer at the bottom

Now onto the frame

I hate to say it but that's all for right now, I will be back with more later!

Slide rails

Test fit, works great!

Lets get the barrel started!

Barrel sat to high, so I cut the front piece off the slide and made a new front end to lower the barrel 3mm

New barrel and a perfect recoil spring!!

Now for the trigger and spring

Time to test fit

Trigger is in place

Trigger guard and working mag catch done

Hey dude Thats awesome...I'm a big fan of the five-seven, my dad bought one and its the funnest thing. I cant wait to see it done, I might even try this, but its looking really cool

Decided to make a slide stop....

Also I made the rail too

it doesn't work so it's just a cosmetic now..

Most likely due to the 100 post rule before being able to create/post (had this issue for the elite forum at least).

Had to laugh at the "Priority Mail" on the side of the handgun .. express shipping to a target near you!

Keep up the great work by the way, I'm guessing you'll start with the bondo once you have the shape and mechanisms in place?

i dont plan on using bondo, instead ill co with wood filler and than pain

just need the rear sight and the safety

I'm pretty sure once you paint it, I wont be able to tell that its made of cardboard. Make sure you dont wave it in public!
