Hey guys. I'm working on the 3D printed suit from Moe's excellent Thingiverse files. I have one complete arm printed, and need to make a few mods to it (Notably, the forearm printed at 85% is perfect in length-- and the mouth is too small to get my hand through, so I have to dremel a cut down the bracer so I can flex it open and closed.), but I'm starting to think about how to attach everything to the undersuit.
Of course I thought of velcro, but that comes with a few problems, such as getting it to stick to the armor pieces, or tight fitting pieces getting caught on the loops trying to slide into them. The idea of using rare earth magnets as closing fasteners occurred to me.
Anyone use these?
Also, I may or may not have had cyanoacrylic on my fingers when I was picking my nose and now have one hand affixed to my nostril. Please excuse any typos.
