Im looking to hire some one to make me some mjolnir armor.
I will:
Pay for Materials
Pay for Labor
provide my measurements
pay for shipping

Im not to picky, i dont need it super fancy with LEDS or battle damage. but i can tell you what i am looking for if possible to create

white armor with yellow/gold detail

A helmet with a real visor.
Type one of these will do.
Eva (i know its hard but id pay extra if u can do it)
Recon
Mark V (noble 6's helmet?)

Shoulders:
Left: None
Right: ODST
(like romeo's shoulders in halo3: ODST firefight)

chest
doesnt matter

knees:
doesnt matter

most halo costumes online sell for between $600-$1000
im willing to pay that (this is for labor, seperate from materials and shipping)
of course we can make a binding contract and fax that over
im 18 and in college and dont have time to complete one of these, but i'd love to own one.

i'd also just buy unfinished helmets if you have those.

just let me know on here
or email me at
VertMediic11@gmail.com
or im on xbox live: vert medic11
or here.
if u need to contact me by phone hat works to, but i check my email hourly.
i;d really like to get a armor commisioned soon, so let me know. looking for a project thats only about 6 months max if possible.

Probably better of buying one of the ones you've seen available online if cost is your major factor. They're cheaper because they aren't custom built to fit you.

It takes a lot of time and effort to put together one of these suits, takes me 6-12 hours just to pep one of the helmets let alone the whole suit then fiberglass, bonda, sand and paint it up. The cost of the ones you've seen wouldn't cover the time spent doing it at minimum wage imho

I doubt it'll be in time for you, but I am planning working on a custom done EVA helm with a visor that has a full range of vision rather than just a section at the front. That's likely to be sometime next year though tbh.

You're better off building your own armor. I'll hopefully be starting my first set next week, so I don't have an experience yet, but from what I've seen on these boards, it's not only much much cheaper to do it yourself, but a whole lot more rewarding. Plus, you'll have complete control over the end product. It'll take a lot of work, but in the end, it'll be worth it.

hmmm...i guess...i dunno. would you be interested in selling an eva helmet? i have no way to do that vac-forming ****. and i tried with plexi glass already...i mean....i guess i'd pay some one if they just majorly help me with a project, if some one could do so. like help me with a materials list, and also good tips and even like a how to. also if some one could give me prints to fit me? or form prints for me that would fit that'd be sweet. i see alot of projects that go astray cuz they dont measure em right....i can see me doing this.

What you're asking there (shopping list, tutorials, tips) is already available here. All you have to do is read it or, in case it's a video, watch it.

But there's no way to make absolutely sure the scale is right the first time. Especially not if you want somebody else to do the scaling.

Isn't there a code of conduct on this type of thing? My suggestion, build it yourself, do as much of the work as you can on your own, then see if anyone else is willing to help finish it off.
In my situation I'm not allowed to use chemicals like Fiberglass at my apartment complex, so I asked around and I got a few guys at work with huge ass expensive tool sheds lemme use their equipment.

It isn't easy, but man it'll take a long ass time to do up a suit. You're better off if you need something quick to always go with Rubies until you do something better.

In all honesty, you're best bet is going for some pulls of molded armor, but its not going to be 600-1000 dollars. Those ones you are seeing are the Rubies, and they are nothing like what you find here. We do better work than they do, hands down!

i have time to wait, and money to pay.
i just dont have free time to build.
Thing is, this site is pretty much entirely about making your own armor, not paying someone else to do the work for you (in fact, it's frowned upon). My suggestion would be to do the work during those moments you do have free time. It'll take you a good long time to finish it, but you'll still get that great feeling of accomplishment when you do.

If, in fact, you have absolutely no time to build your own armor, than either wait to do so when you do (patience is a virtue), or get a cheap, factory made suit for the time being. It won't be perfect, but should work well for a temperary stand in till you can make your own.

I find your claim to have no time at all questionable. Im a full time college student and i work about 30 hours a week. I got time to work on mine.

I agree with Ravenxl7 here. Buy a cheap suit or wait till you can build one. As for time, it depends how much you want to create one. I am a father of three and work full time. I can understand not having much time :)

That probably sounds really stupid, but you lost me after the second comma. Which costumes would be the rubies (is that a proper noun, since its capitalised?) he is seeing, if its not the ones he can find here? And who are "they", who do worse work than "us"?

I'm think that Brandon McClain is referencing these:

Basically massproduced, one-size-fits-most, costumes that can be bought and worn quite easily with no modifications. True, you're limited to the Mk.VI, but the collectors level one shouldn't be too hard to paint a different color. It's basically the best temporary option till you're able to make your own armor.

Edit: Replaced the first link I had with links to the three individual versions of the Master Chief armor they have. Not sure why the first one I had went to random stuff on their site.
