What did you end up using for the cylinder body part of the gun? I'm having trouble finding something suitable. Thanks!

I used a 4" piece of PVC pipe. I actually made a thread on here a while back for it if you get stuck on anything : Halo 3 detachable turret

Progress on the turret has been delayed, I'm sick right now, but I ordered some parts

Ordered some 8 inch HVAC ducting for the body/receiver of the turret. Should be here soon.
