Yo, my name's Zack! I'm 16! I've always wanted to be a cosplayer (ALWAYS). Ever since I was a little one, I had a huge imagination and have always wanted to do something like this until I recently found the 405th and all of you nice people! As you know, I've never done anything like this before, so I wanted to create this thread for any of you to give me some pointers on my way to becoming a Spartan!

I'm actually in the process of creating the same suit you are right now for my third set, so we can struggle together lol

Literally just come to as many gatherings as you can where the 405th is on the ground. Engage with the community as much as you can, you'll meet so many awesome people here.

PLEASEEEE just focus on enjoying yourself. Detail and skill will come surprisingly quick with time and effort, so don't try to push your pieces to unreasonable standards. I was doing this in my first 8 months of cosplay and it drained my energy, burnt me out, and arguably just made my work look worse. SO FOCUS ON HAVING FUN!!!!!!
