i used the search and couldnt find anything on this (atleast as far as i could tell)

Has anyone tried to make a mold of a fiberglassed and resined pepakura helmet? Would it even work?

Hmm this is tricky
Umm If you used stock paper (i believe this Is a stronger printer freindly paper idk) or any other stong paper then fiberglassed the helmet maybe even 2 coats if you did a two part mold i thinkthe helmet would wisthand any pressure the mold may puton it

thats a complex mold, I posted that so that people would have an idea on how to mold parts that have no flat surfaces

Maybe you should try at least 5 coats. Thats what I used and mine was a rock after.

alright, ill experiment with this. i also have an idea on how to fix the problem with the hole in the bottom being too small without having to cut away some of the helmet. but that will have to wait til after i resin. :hyper: im excited!
