Mark V Armor Build

Hello everyone its me again! (if you don't know who I am I was working on a Mark IV suit and completed an ODST helm)



I decided that the Mark IV was too hard for the time that I had given myself and the fact that all the models are not out yet.



Anyway I am now working on getting a full Mark V suit by "Haloween"



Here is my progress so far

I was wondering if, as far as you can tell, do I have the chest sized right (I used the default measurements.) Also I think I need to increase the size of the shoulder and possibly lower the size of the forearm.

Na, I just had it on to give the picture a more complete look. I'm actually going to build the HD Halo 3 multilayer helm by [Flyingsquirl <----thanks]



but what do you think about the scale, do all the pieces look proportional?

Looks pretty good but I thought the Mark V was a lot more flat at the top near the shoulder instead of teh spike shape? I personally think you should build it a bit bigger and bend it a bit more, expecting to put some foam behind it so it gives the appearance of having a much larger chest/upper body

That's the Halo 3 Model, not the Halo 1.

Imagonnagetyou is right,thats a halo 3 MKVI with an EOD chest perm with a MKV helm.

I think it looks larger now that its all put together but I'll see about the size once I finish the backpack. I do plan to have some foam for like you said to give my flat chest some bulk lol.

You need the additional material for the chest, the extra pieces that go in the top section and on the sides:

Shoot me another PM with your email addy and I will send you the original Moz PDOs I have that have the additional parts that aren't in the mark V files that are floating around these days.

Awesome! Hope you get that done in time for halloween. I'm going as a halo 1 marine, 'cause I doubt I could make spartan armor in 3 weeks.

Just an update, I have bad news =( I used the wrong scale so now I have to start over and hope that everything fits this time.



That means that I won't have it finished for Halloween but at least I can wear it to the Halo:Reach release / next years Halloween.
