Megaman/Protoman costumes for short film! :D

I've been working on this project for the last couple of months and am so close to completion.
The short begins filming as soon as i finish and ship these guys out. Olan Rogers along with Clinton Jones (Cardboard Warfare) will be filming this so i expect it to look amazing.
All critiques welcomed and encouraged so let me know what you think or ask if you want to know how i did something.

Thanks. I still have some work to do such as adding visors and such. but two weeks is the limit.

Si i finally got around to putting the suit on one of my friends. It's weird seeing life brought to it after working on it for soooooo long. Let me know what you guys think

Now that I think about it more, these look like a cross between iron man and megaman. Still very cool. Where did the inspiration for such a unique design come from?

Holy crap, that's awesome. It looks like you made them out of foam, is this so?

And I'm a bit curious, what did you base your designs on? It looks original, but I can't help it's a cross between X, Z or ZX series (If that's Protoman, that looks more like Giro as Model Z in ZX).).

dude, this is SA-WEET!!!!! growing up I only played the original series myself but these are total bad@$$!!!!! definitely want to see it finished!!! did you make it all from scratch or use stencils??? me and my gf just saw this and got all excited!!

@ Shaymin- I did draw inspiration from the sleek mechanical look of iron man. The second the director told me he had a Mm film in the works I started sketching away. Originally i designed the helmet based solely on what i remember mm to look like when i was a kid. No reference pics until after i finished. Then i tweeked the design to fit the mm style, in a way

@ Shadow- The torso and some armoring for the weapons was made out of EVA foam. The rest is fiberglass or slush-cast resin, with other misc materials. The film takes place in the X series which, i know, Protoman is no part of. We found a loophole to work him in. The white striping did come from one set of pics. It was from the cg animated series. I liked it so much that i had to incorporate it.

@ matt- glad you like it and approve, be it you're a big fan of mm. Everything you see was made from scratch except the visors. Pieces sculpted/ molded, built from foam and lathed from resin.

I hope to have the entire project finished by the end of October. Here's to hoping. *raises tea in cheers to computer screen.
