Hello everyone, lonewolf here.
So i recently finished a halo 3 assault rifle out of foam and i am very proud of it and its paint job. (after 4 different ARs i finally made a good one) i would like to mold it now and make plastic ones so i dont have to keep remaking foam ones for my films. BUT i wanted to know if molding would ruin the paint job.
i plan on doing the silicone/wax/fiberglass method then buying some kind of resin. But i want to keep my foam one, will the molding process peel it off?
My guess is that it wont because silicone shouldnt stick to it, ive seen people use a non stick spray or something. but i dont know. Help a noobie like me please
