I agree with Spartan II, I'd go with a very good two part epoxy. It cures to a very strong bond and can be sanded if any bleeds out during the curing process.
I purchased the statue off of Craig's List. My friends, who know I'm a nut about Halo, emailed me about the sale. The seller lived about 6-7 miles away from me.

perhaps you could make a casting on it so the members here can have some more reference to work with. Bungie might have a problem with it i dont know for sure, but might be worth doing for some easy karma around here.

I got my four-foot version of this statue on eBay, from a guy that lived in Toronto (I don't know how far that is from me, but I'm in Ottawa so it was a little less than a six-hour drive). It was pick-up only, which is probably why I was the only one who bid on it, lol.
I managed to get mine for a whopping $30.00 CDN, lol. Guess the guy didn't know what he had :rolleyes

As kewl a display/collector's piece as these statues are (only a limited number of them were made, both the four- and six-foot versions, to promote the release of the second game), some of the details present aren't exactly accurate, so it wouldn't necessarily make for a good reference. That's just my opinion, though lol
