hmmm a gear axe sounds neat,. I was gonna go w/ Bolter&Chainsword but now I'll have to re-think that,. Im still working out if Im gonna do the Bionic Arms
I bought a set of marines, and one of them has a folded Bionic Arm on the backpack so If I do one, It'll be based on that model, if your interested its from
the standard marines, Devastator set, my local shop didnt have any TM's I could find so this should do

I got a CraftROBO recently and decided to remake all my pieces double-reinforced, got the gauntlet done,.and my new workflow hammered out,.. so new pieces will be popping out regularly, now my pieces will be able to stand on thier own quite well until I can get to the resin stage w/ no warping
me either Drgnfyre so when you gonna join the rest of the pack @ a con on the side of the country?
so today, I put a coat of resin on my new forearm, w/ it double lined it soo easy to paint it on nicely,. soo easy for smooth even strokes, and best of all was about to do 95% of it in one pass, since its double lined dont have to worry so much about it being waterlogged, half w/ done w/ my new chest also, pictures to follow soon

so here it is my latest update all the pieces in the photo have been slush casted now I just need to do the exterior bodywork
the armor doesnt have a bad weight its pretty load balanced but I definately need to pad the inside one so it sits better on me,
and two the collar was digging into my shoulders I was basically carrying the weight of the entire thing on two thin points
but once I get some stuff cleaned up and smoothed in the inside that'll not be a problem, then the found will be figuring out the
best way to mount them for those shots they were just stuck one w/ gorrilla tape

That look extremely awesome, and it's scaled perfectly.
A gear axe shouldn't be too difficult, you wouldn't even need pepakura for the post part, just cardboard tubes and hot glue.
For the rest of the armour however, in terms of modding it to a tech marine look, it'll be quite difficult - but if you do it right, awesome. Best of luck, sir.
