Need help cleaning-up a pepakura file

I was wondering how I cleanup some pepakura files I have of some destiny armor. The armor has pieces I dont need, such the insides of the armor, and the linking of shoulders to forearms.

Can be a long and hard process. You'll need to use a 3d program like Blender and split/weld different parts of the mesh to get what you want.

Cleaning a pepakura file is very time consuming. But you do not need a 3d program to do it. All you need is a good understanding on what your able to do with pepakura. This forearm was a double layered and it pretty much was 2 forearms in 1. As you can see I took out all of the extra stuff and set it on the side. While I was at it I set up the pieces in way I know would make a good build. It took about 20 hours to do do. But I am now glad I have HD forearms.
