Ok, i got my craft robo in the mail today, and got everything set up. it cuts right on the line. my problem is that on edges and corners, it doesnt always cut all the way. even at the slowest speed and maximum depth it doesnt cut all the way through on corners.
heres a pictures.

anyone know a fix? I really need this to work... i dropped $200 on this bad boy

What are you using to cut the pages out on, are you using the plastic pad? Also it could be the blade is not in it right.

I've seen this problem come up before, but haven't seen a good answer. This site doesn't have an answer either, suggests just doing it by hand. This sounds like a pain, however.

Oh! So it does. I was looking at "Case 3: Uncut corners" down at the bottom, but hopefully cutting twice will solve the problem, as long as it can cut in the exact same spot each time.

Actually everything is O.K.!! Pepakura convert the file in lines, but no lines are conected by the corners..that´s why craft robo start cutting lines everywere..not like a single line making a figure.... it has not order in lines...

cutting it twice worked great! there's still a little bit of incomplete cutting, but the 2 passes mostly fixed it. I cut and scored a reach handplate in 3 minutes!!!! AWESOME!!!!
thanks for all the help!

Hey! It sounds like you seem to have this under control. :p Does it score the lines too or just cut? I thought I read somewhere about this thing being able to score the lines too.

When cutting, will YOU need the file that is being cut or can you have something already printed and then cut it? I was wanting to see if you would be able to get my stuff cut for me since that might be able to help speed up the process of making my Kat costume. :p

it perforates lines, which basically is a bidirectional way of scoring. the perforation isnt so much that it tears.

the file that is being cut must be a file printed from pepakura viewer for craft robo. it cannot cut out just a regular pepakura designer printout. the pep viewer for craft robo prints registration marks on the paper which allows the computer to know where everything is. I am able to cut things for a small fee. email me for the price @ fabercharlie@gmail.com

the craft robo speeds thing up so much! It cuts an average of 3 inches per second. I cut out a reach handplate in 3 minutes flat.

@halogoddess: you should turn on receive email from members in your settings. because the pms are down, its the only good way to privately communicate with other forum members

Hey Charlieiscool12, I am new to the 405th and was wondering if you would be able to assist me with something. I just recently made the purchase of a craft robo as well and to help you with your issue, what color cap are you using to make your cuts? Cause I know the different caps are for different depths.

My question is regarding your settings and if you are using Pepakura viewer for craftrobo? What type of Media do you select on the settings, what is the speed and depth setting, and have you set up an offset? The issue I am having is that initially it cuts right on the lines, but at the end of the page, the cut if off by a mm. Thanks in advance!!
