I just want to know if anyone uses the fiberglass method and if they do can you give me tips like: Do i layer it on the inside or outside?This is off topic but how doi scale the helmet?etc.?

NEVER FIBERGLASS THE OUTSIDE, as it will ruin the detail of your piece. Always fiberglass the inside.



To the mods and everyone else:

I think it would be a great benefit to the community - in particular the noobs - to incorporate a Tutorial section into the forums. I've heard this brought up at least once, and think it would be a fantastic idea. It would help to remove the growing, and perhaps overwhelming, number of stickies in each section as well as provide noobs with a much easier way of locating the answers to their questions. For those of us who have been around for a while, the threads and stickies are fairly easy to navigate. But I can see how for some new members, this could be just overwhelming enough to cause them to think that making a thread asking the question would be easier than trying to navigate what looks like a labyrinth of topics and stickies to them.

i agreed with the latter half of this post. having been here for about a year i'm still finding it hard to find the stickies and tuts that i need, and having all the stickies and tuts consolidated into one glorious section all to their own would be a great help, and as NAGA said, it would be a HELL of a lot less daunting for the noob... i feel at least
