Just wanted to say hi to everyone, Been visiting/lurking the forum for a while now as guest.
Decided that it was time to start sharing with the great people that have taught me so much.
Also, I have created all my own pep files and have kept them very consistent for easy scaling.
If there is an interest in even MORE pep files I will share them. But there are so many good files already.
Thank you all, even though you did not know it at the time, you were all helping me.

Full album: Space Drake's Armor

EDIT:
Well, do to the requests of the pep files here they are:
Space Drake's Pep files

I still need to complete the Arms.
The Scaling is for a 75" tall Masterchief (6'3"). From ground to top of helmet.

If you would like to scale down here is the equation.
Scale=(250 x H)/70
H = Height you want Masterchief to be in inches!
p.s. 70 is 5'10" (my Height) 250 is a nice easy scale. This was my original planed height, but after discussing with peegot, we changed the scale for us to 268%

Good luck,
EDIT END

Thank you agian,

SD

Well with work like that im sure the mods will move this to the pep section since we dont really have to worry about him asking repeated questions.

BTW: Nice work

Hey everyone, I'm SD's partner-in-crime. I have definitely learned a lot from everyone here whilst lurking.

Hopefully we'll be doing some fiberglassing/bondo-ing soon now that were out of the arctic season here. I am supplying the manufacturing facilities (garage :D )

Welcome to the 405th, fellas! Nice work on those Pep files so far. I see we can expect good things to come of this, if your progress at this point is any indication :D heh

Thank you all,

florios:
Well I saw some post about big talk and little to show, So peegot and I did not want to start to post till we had something to share.
I might have waited a little to long though.

Spase:
I have spent alot of time on the models and the pep. I started on all the models back before there were all those great Hi-def pep files.
That will be the next pep files I work on after finishing these.

LastSpartan:
I am finishing up the Pep now and will post when complete set is finished. Plus I need to research the correct place to upload. Halowiki, maybe?

TwitchFMX8811:
That would be just to sweet if that was to happen. I don't like to ask many questions. Most things can be found if you look. Isn't the internet GREAT!!

tenacioust183:
I don't know bout that tenacioust183. Everyone see problems with their own work.
I have been a long time fan of origami and when I saw the pepakura I flipped. I had to try it out. Thank you 405th for showing me this. It is all about spending the time to do it. I am very anal that way. Just ask peegot, He and I work together and we joke about my OCD on some small things.

link4044:
Yes, many breaks. Actually, I had the winter as a break, now the weather is starting to get nice and I need to take advantage of it.

colmon_9:
I will be working on it. I created the pep with the scaling issues as a main focus. If people decide to use them, I hope they can help.

SPARTAN II:
I am hoping everyone feels that way, We just want to do our part to help.
and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Robogenisis:
Thanks

doomkiller08:
As above it will be very soon, almost finished. Since I started this post, all the posts here have made me want to get it finished sooner.

Sorry said I had to many Quotes, had to reply back this way. Hope that is o.k.

Edited the original post to include the pep files.
Also included is our PDF files of the pep.
these can be used for those that do not have access to Pepakura.
I hope the Scaling is easy enough to figure out.
All files are the same, if you figure out the height you want your armor to be then use that scale for all files.
If you want to modify the scale of individual files it is all separated to do so.

Have fun, and any feed back on the files would be appreciated.

Dude, your pep files are amazing. I would jump right on building them, but I am gonna be on hold for a month or so. I was kinda surprised that the torso has a sealed bottom, i've seen support struts before, but a solid piece is new too me. What 3d program did you use to build these with? the only one I am familiar with is Blender, but I haven't had any experience with it. Thanks a ton! I am so bookmarking this page for the files!

EDIT: oh yeah, and I like the neck on the helmet! and welcome to the glorious 405TH!

-Chupa

P.S. If you could make a simplified SMG (absolute favorite gun EVER!), I would love you forever dude! (in a totally manly non-gay way of course!)

SpaceDrake is wicked awesome with the 3D stuff (Wings & Blender - I think). I'm still in the "struggling phase" with those but with the amount of time I've been able put in, I shouldn't be any good :) . Once my troops' Pinewood derby race is done, I'll have more time - I hope LOL :p Both our wives think we are kinda crazy but my Boys(8 & 10) think this is awesome!!

BTW - Nice quote from Boondock Saints Spartan 051 - Space drake introduced me that movie too!

Well, I think that could be said of any of the membership. We're all here to "do our part", be it in the way of contributing with Pep armour files, suggestions on techniques, et cetera. It's all about sharing our knowledge and encouraging one another's efforts ;)

With what you've done thus far, I am certain you'll make some good contributions to the community.

As for the whole quotes thing, don't worry about it. You'll notice that a lot of members here arrange thier replies in the same manner. It's just easier to reply back to everyone at the same time, since the last time the OP was in the thread.

P.S., Thanks for the birthday wishes, heh
