Noob Odst Helm Build

So i've been watching this community as a guest for awhile, i love the constructive things people can do through the same inspiration of games and movies... its awesome, so i decided to join. I've never done pep work, fiberglass work (other than cars), or anything of the sort, however i study things through and through. i looked over tons of builds and decided i have to do something about this extra time i have, i wanted to do something constructive... so here is my first attempt at an ODST helm.

So thnx for checking it out, and constructive criticism is much appreciated. i know i have a flat head... the helms support tape gave out, i had it suspending in a box hanging from the top of the lid... and splat... it fell and gave a flat head... it'll be fixed..

I agree with WRising it does look warped but it is looking like it will look good.

Looks good, welcome to the 405th! Slight warpage, as these guys have said, but I think you'll be able to get good results from it regardless. Keep on keepin' on!

yeah i know... it fell from the support and sat on the top over night drying.... its an eye sore for now, but will be fixed when all is said and done.

Yeaah, Welcome to the forums! Its great to see a new member with a great project like this underway!

For a first try this is brilliant - my first helmet was just a pile of mushh!

Maybee a little warped on the top...but it's nothing a bit of Bondo can't fix!

I wouldn't of had the guts to try something like an ODST as my first pep.



P.S. My first pep was a NASTY low Detail Mark VI.

been conversing with link about getting a nice vac-formed visor... really nice guy and reasonable prices! oh btw not trying to have the helm or armor done by the odst release date.... i just want the armor to have... will have some updates by saturday (i'm off, YAY!!!)
