Odd question about halo armor

How do you sit with the butt flap armor piece? Wouldn't it scratch the furniture or the armor piece and be uncomfortable? I have yet to make this piece so I am curious.

Make it out of foam. The butt flap doesn`t directly go under your butt when you sit down, only when you stand up. When you sit it should go close to above your butt.

On my armor it is mounted like this with velcro strips to take it on/off easily because i slip in the chest piece from behind.
It hides the butt a little because it would look stupid otherwise when your butt (especially mine ) is extremely flat.
Concerning sitting, it doesn't touch the furniture this way and in full armor I sit like I do when playing Xbox, bent forward.
