Really have been stressing out over layer lines. Been sanding my butt off, using filler primer, and wet sanding areas smooth to the touch and and eye. When I put paint down I'm still getting lines peaking out. is there any tips, tricks, or steps I'm missing?

Bondo spot putty/ glazing putty can be used to fill in lines with the filler primer

Do you add some thinner to it for flat surfaces or do you use it right from the tube? I've used to fill some of the areas where i had to trim down my armor a bit for fitting, and used it directly from the tube.

I use it directly from the tube. Others have used acetone to thin it down, but it’s hard to predict results when mixing different chemicals
