I've seen other ways to make a decent odst visor. can't find the threads though.
Ya, I think a lot of people pep and fiberglass the visor separately then mold and vacuum form itI've seen other ways to make a decent odst visor. can't find the threads though.
well thats dumb, why would i need to be a special member just to buy a visor. that doesnt make any sense to me, it would discourage me and other users that i cant get something cause i'm not good enough at an internet site.
It will be easier to find once they get the forums back up to snuff

It's really make no sense. If I was someone who has no creating skills and i need to buy almost everything i could contact senior members. But this.... looks weird. I'm member of 501st Legion where they are selling armor and parts to everyone and it's no problem so thats why i don't understand policy of 405th
i first have to say that the 501st is also more fanbased than anything and all the people doing replica armor and other armor for sale taht is of high quality MLC kropsircle etc .... are as far as i know fans and are not liscenced and will never will be hence why they do short runs of their parts as that is all that is allowed cause otherwise every shop during halloween would have good quality armor .... george lucas does recognize the 501st as a great fan site he likes the fact that they are making costumes by hand etc ... it flatters him as far as i know... so in the end argument 501st and 405th are one and the same... with wonderful propmasters artists and what not creating awsome wearable works of art however we are not the same people 501st and 405th are different in that respect that its not the same people running the showAs far as my understanding goes the reason the 501st can buy and sell parts so freely is because alot of the star wars gear is commercialised, meaning to say that good 'ol George has given people permission (and said people have paid for that permission) to reproduce the costumes used in the movies. Whereas the 405th is entirely fan based, has no commercial licensing or backing and Microsoft, Bungie, 343 Industries (every entity involved with making Halo) hasnt formally endorsed what we do. They mearly tolerate it. If everyone here started mass producing armor and costumes and selling them, thats money they miss out on and would probably take legal action against the site... which many people might not like.
Hope that answers that, if anyone knows otherwise please add.
