Ok. I realy want to make ODST armour

i thought resin eats styro foam? some one was making a plasma rifle out of foam and he ran into a problem when it came to fiberglassing it because people kept saying that the resin eats the foam

In my experience acrylic paints are perfectly fine with foam. I started working on a Plasma Rifle a while ago and painted it fine with acrylics. You just gotta stay away from aerosols is what I thought? I have no idea about the fiberglass resin though, never actually tried it.
