Ok. I realy want to make ODST armour

I cant vac. I cant do paper or cardboard. What else can i do to make it look good?

Make it out of fiberglass resin, or Hard plastic, you need to make a model followed by a mold, it takes longer, but it works

Well unless you resin an fiberglass it first then it should work.

Not all paint melts foam.

It depends on the chemical nature of it.

Acrylic paints do. Latex based do not. Oil based can do alright, but end up looking sorta funky.... You can seal it with an appropriate aerosol or paint sealant, and then go on to use whatever kind of paint you want to.

I agree with FinAeros. Try sculpting a prototype out of some foam. From there, you can decide where to go.

I find that sometimes just getting started will reveal solutions for what comes afterwards.
