Outside finish material fo Pepa

I'm sorry if I missed this info anywhere but, what can I use on the outside of the helmet etc..
I read some people were talking about using bondo, but others said it was too hard to shape, and very heavy. Is there a better material to coat the outside with that is strong, not too heavy, and can be sanded to shape?

Check out the Fiberglass and Smoothing tut in the stickies. If you're fiberglassing anyway it really is the easiest way.

Thanks Sigma. So in your tut you only use resin on the outside, and then sand the resin and into the fibreglass?
