Hey, I've been working on Emile's armor from the new Reach game, and came across a little way to fix some annoying issues. I was gluing his chest piece together and when I went to resin and fiberglass it, I noticed a few of the joins were overlapping and left a little gap. But instead of glopping on resin or adding extra sheets of fiberglass mat, I just took a bead of glue from my hot glue gun and then just used a strip of cardboard to smooth it out, and PRESTO the gap was gone. Hope this helps some of you who are making your armor.
