Hey guys, just thought I'd post some pics of my Pep Helmet, my and a friend spent 8 hours straight doing it lol so better get some praise

We are planning on resinning(sp?) it today and probably painting it, we dont really plan to fibreglass this one as we are considering it more of a "prototype" We are gonna make a few more for us and our friends to customise before we terrorize the streets of Ireland

I'll keep the thread updated on the progress anyways,

AWESOME!! for a first attempt thats great, it looks to me like u didn't scale it down, i didnt either on my first one & its HUGE, check the scaling thread for info on how to scale it properly, im 5'11" and i adjusted the scale to 25, i should have gone 25.5, but it still works great, keep it up!!

:agree: haha you guys ownt that pepakura. If you do all your armor that well it will look pretty good when done. just scale it down some

lil big eh? Well nice work, and I would suggest glassing it, it really does add a lot of strength to it. What color you going to paint it?

Yeah we wanted the proper MC sized one for our first go for some reason lol

we will be resizing it but we noticed that even on this mammoth that it only just fits over our head, like in the neck piece so I don't know, but I'll be making a smaller one and seeing what the story is then.

For the neck piece thing, you need to trim it. I trimmed mine like this
