Hey, I downloaded some great pepakura files from the websites, but I noticed that some of the patterns have pieces that cross over the dotted lines for the page boundaries. In some cases the pieces are to big to rotate to fit only 1 sheet. What would you do? Just print and glue the two pieces together?

Select the piece that is too big by clicking on it once so it is highlighted around the edges in red. Then, under "2-D Pattern Window" (On Pepakura Designer 2 atleast) go to edit mode, and select "Join/Disjoin Face." This option allows you to cut, or break up a piece into smaller pieces.

Read the Grunt's Guide to Pepakura sticky found in the Pepakura and Cardboard Armor section. It explains how to solve your problem.

not really. It makes you able to cut and break the vertices of the model. Its not that you can randomly pick a space where you wanto cut it. If its to big and you cant cut it. You need to edit the model...

From my experience, the pieces that usually stretch across the page are the support struts, and it's usually not problem to use Spawn Camp3r's method of add a picture or text to go across the piece. Just be sure to draw yourself a connector tab on one of the pieces to make joining them together easier. The one big exception to the general rule of only struts extending across the page seems to be rifle models where the model maker didn't break up the long sections.
