Bondo what everyone is referring to here is the Autobody Filler. You apply it on the outside to smooth and detail the piece.

Also there is a big color difference.

Oook... I did some searching on Rona.ca, and they had this product called Bondo (by 3M) that was fiberglass resin, but now i went on princessauto.com and found Bondo body filler... that stuff's cheap, too!

Still, anyone know where I can get fiberglass cloths for cheap in Calgary, Alberta, Canada?

Like I said:

-Canadian Tire (a few $'s more then Wal-Mart)

-Wal-Mart (cheepest)

-Home Hardware (Exencive compaired to Wal-Mart)

-Almost andy auto shop (sometimes very cheep, sometimes very pricey)

My suggestion is to reinforce the inside with some good old cardboard and hot glue. Then clear coat, then you may add resin at your own risk.

EDIT: Just saw the rest of the thread. Around here, Resin, FG and bondo are cheapest at Autozone.

Same directions apply: 1-2 coats of resin outside, fiberglass the inside 2-3 times, Bondo the outside, sand it smooth, paint it with primer, paint it.

Prefect! Nailed it Kensai111.

Or you can use Polyurethane Resin (plastic). (Link below my sig to video)
