Pepakura'd Halo 4 Recon helmet

So this is my first post, and I hope you like my work!

I've been working on a halo 4 Recon helmet for the past month, and hopefully it will be done by halloween, in 2 DAYS.




I'm very surprised on how easy (Maybe not that easy) it was!
I snatched the PDO file from chernobyl, thanks chernobyl!
Thank you 405th for your existence, and your PDOs for pepakuraing HALO armor.

Looks good so far, I am currently working on some halo 4 recon armor myself. So i'm interested in how yours turns out keep us updated.

Thank you so much! I just painted it flat soft iron, and it's coming out well! I have one day to paint a stripe, and add a visor. I am going to get a report folder and cut off the clear cover, add two layers of it, cut it in the shape of the visor, and attach it.
i also have to add foam on the inside so it matches my head, so it won't fly around on my head. For halloween I'm going to wear a butcher's apron, and add purple blood splatter to it. I'm going to be the master chef.

Hopefully it will finish by tomorrow night, so let's see what happens.

did you resin it? It seems a bit flat. And what foam are you going to use? Polyurethane foam or expanding foam?

Yeah I resined the outside and the inside, and I'm using high density foam from crafting stores, Jo anns, ETC.

I used flat soft iron for paint, probably why.
