Plasma Grenade Sculpt

Hello,





I saw these wooden balls at a craft shop the other day and thought they would make great plasma grenades. I made a prototype last night and made a master tonight. I used Prang DAS clay to sculpt with.

Tommarow I hope to sand it and maybe redo the symbol on the master. I hope to paint it within a couple of days.

That looks like you did a really good job on it, and it will look great when painted. I know its a dumb thought, but if you have no use for the prototype, you should cover its smooth parts with velcro, then paint it, and have a real sticky grenade, minus the explosion.

That is a ........................AWSOME idea. I'll try it. I have to redo the symbol on the master. It's not acurate. Thanks man,

Instead of using casting resin, why dont you use foam cast or something like that. I remember seeing it, in the engeenire website.

Yeah the weight of the wood would cause it to fall off too, so in the end you will have to do it with a cast, I guess.

The flex foam looks like it would be the best. Light waight, And flexible
