what are you wanting to accomplish??

Solid model is super easy.

a functional model on the other hand is going to take quite a while.

I have a lot of experience making solid models but I can't help much if you are looking for a functional prop.

That pic is one of the main reference pictures I used when building my foam magnum. If you look at my foam weapons thread in my signature, there are a lot of good pics on how I layered it together. There aren't any moving parts, but with some basic editing you can play around with your video and make the slide appear to move.
