Props possible platform for real steel DMR

I apologize in advance if discussion regarding real firearms is discouraged. I've seen threads relating to this stuff before and it didn't seem to be an issue.


Anyways, there is a type of AR-15 known as a "featureless rifle" which has a design that tones down some of things that make these weapons hard to own legally in some areas.

Other than the magazine configuration, it would seem to be a great platform for a real DMR.

Yeah, I can see that.... a really short magazine and a very long barrel with some sort of fairing or shroud would do the trick.
