With Halo 5: Guardians around the corner, I'd like to take the time to lay down a few requests regarding posting about the game, in order to make things comfortable and fair for those who may not be experiencing the game at launch:
Please do not discuss spoiler content outside of the dedicated Halo 5: Guardians thread. You can find our dedicated thread HERE.
For those who may or may not be familiar, spoiler content categorises any discussion or posting of the game's storyline - put simply, please don't go posting story spoilers around the forum and ruining the plot for others. It shouldn't have to be said, but it's easily done without thought or consideration for whether other people may or may not have experienced the game themselves. As always, post considerately, and if you're not sure, don't post until you're absolutely sure. Discussion of the game plot is welcome - we don't want to stifle the community's engagement, and we encourage our members to talk to each other and mull things over. There's nothing better than having friends to talk to about things after experiencing them.
When posting, remember the SPOILER tag function - it's the black exclamation mark set into a yellow triangle, you can find it on the bottom row of the text editor options panel. Spoiler-wrapped text will look like this:
Discussions featuring spoiler content outside of the designated areas will be reported and removed - keep off the grass, ladies and gentlemen, and we'll be fine.
