Rak city

Well it's time for my next build. Although the Hayabusa was a success it was also a fail but hey first suit not to shabby. But let's move on....Galaxycon. Columbus OH Dec1st-3rd rakshasa suit will be presented. This will be standard rak city suit with some attachments courtesy of J0sephAguilar . Which most of this suit comes from him. 100% 3d printed suit by none other then SSGLordBert himself.

So first piece we have is the helmet. Decided to go with the Morrigan helmet. haven't decided on visor color but plan on running full comms

Few more pieces as I get everything laid out. The build is projected to be complete hopefully by the middle of Oct.

This suit is coming together alot faster then the Hayabusa. I've just about got it all painted. Then it's on to strapping.

Just a little update on the rak city suit. Just about done with painting. Just got some accent colors to hit it with and she'll be ready for a matte clear coat. And then on to strapping.

Just wait I have a few more tricks up the armor and thank you. And the paint scheme does go well it took a few pieces of armor to get painted for me to really appreciate it. But I'm enjoying the outcome so far.

As galaxycon nears so does the rak city build. Just had the first successful left leg test fit. Waiting for a couple pieces to arrive from 3d printmaster SSGLordBert I'll have the right thigh complete and that'll wrap up the waist down. The rest is near complete. We've done a few unconventional things here with these 2 hands and lack of adult supervision. Once those are wrapped up the chest will begin getting pieced together. I think you'll find the undersuit to be a tad different. And that'll about wrap the build up.

Well we've had some additions to the rak city suit courtesy of SSGLordBert . We're up to 8 knives for rak city. This will be last update before the unveil at galaxycon.

Unfortunately 2 of them are mounted to the wrist but you can play with 6 of them. I like the thought though haha

Thank you Cadet It's been awhile since any updates have been made to rak city with the omega and the classified builds going. But a huge thanks to the ever so lovely marinesniper and SSGLordBert for helping with the printing. marine was even kind enough to print duplicates incase i break one lol. Without further ado. Rak city will be getting knives! And alot of them. 16 to be exact. Where they will be getting placed is another story, but either way Rak city now has a new name (again thanks to marinesniper) as well as new knives. We've got a few chest attachments, some solo knives, knives to go on knives, and even got someone to model the twin negotiator mirage piece to mount to the rak city butt plate. Rak city 2.0 aka Guillotine will be making an appearance soon so be on the look out.

Did you print the knifes sitting straight up? i printed mine like that and broke the tip off it just touching it. im wondeing in lieing it down on its back would be better for strength.

They were printed off in both styles. Some laying down flat, some straight up. Only issue I've had with my knives so far is the handle breaking off the Wolfgang blade. It also depends on what type of filament you use as well.
