1st Build Red vs Blue Insurectionist Hatchet

This is my first build that I post to the 405th, I have a odst suit for the axe used in season 10 of red vs blue to go with. I am going off the assumption that the insurectionist leader has a grip on his axe that spans 4 inches. I am making a proof of concept out of card bord before I move on to making it out of aluminum.

Update, lower handle is done. I started on the upper handle and realized it is to short and folds in on itself to much. I need to extend the top of the handle out a bit more.

Ah, but where's the fun in that! Still good to know though, and I'm sure that image will be great for references too, even making templates. I don't remember this hatchet from RvB but it looks pretty dang cool, so I'm looking forward to it.
