Hey guys, mega-popular social news website Reddit.com has given me gold star status and asked us to participate in the IAmA section!

Topic: http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/b0a23/iama_major_fansite_admin_professional_cosplayer/

"I am an admin for http://www.405th.com a major Halo fansite in addition to being a major prop builder/cosplay website. I currently have built 4 fully wearable Halo cosplays each ranging anywhere from $700 - $3000+ in materials/build costs and taking as long as 2 years to craft with a 5th on it's way. I know there has been two IAMA's from female cosplayers however I thought you might have some questions or like some insight on a male cosplayer. As a professional male cosplayer I compete in the Master's division. I am not a model, I'm just an average geek guy. I have flown all over the country, met and frequently chat up countless celebrities, stayed in many shady hotels as well as many classy hotels, attended countless V.I.P. parties, and have had atleast several thousand pictures taken with people of all walks of life from all over the US. Additionally, during convention season I try to frequent children's hospitals in armor and spend some time with a sick child who really loves Halo - it makes my year. I also do charity events whenever possible to put my talents to good use. PIC: http://fav.me/d2akska

Ask me anything."

So go register yourself a reddit.com account (takes under 5 seconds and no spam) and join the conversation and find out absolutely anything you ever wanted to know about being a fansite admin, a male cosplayer, and any one of the million stories I have with celebrities, agressive fan girls, etc.

Cheers,

Just noticed this while browsing reddit. Came to check if it was a phony. Turns out not, awesome!

Glad you checked first :] Don't be shy - jump in on the conversation over there.

Topic is a little slow going because I got trapped in their spam filter for a few hours. Moderators over at reddit fished me out so we're rolling now.

Cheers,

Kensai
