You don't have to use fiberglass cloth the way I understand it. You could Rondo the inside. It'll be heavier then fiberglass but it will still be strong.

what is rodo i know what bondo is but not rondo
 
i have found that using the cloth is alot better if you put two layers of the cloth but let the first layer dry first before putting on the 2 layer

im on a low budget so i think ill just ressin it with bondo
 
I didn't put cloth in my helmet, I just resinnied it. But I did for my shoulder piece, and it seemed a lot better at combating the warpage that way.
